Richmond

Tuesday was pretty much a "day off" for us. Larry and I decided to spend some time exploring Richmond, the town we are living in. It is a busy suburb of London and is an interesting town in its own right.  We spent out time eating lunch at a nice French cafe and wandering in and out of the shops looking for nothing in particular.  We discovered alleyways off the main street which took us back to the lovely, large Richmond Green (where we met an adorable 12 week old lab puppy named Charlie).

There are tons of shops of all kinds but no mall that we are aware of.  This makes for a very lively downtown and main street.  Before heading home, we walked along the river and found lots of great looking restaurants.

When Deb and Bob returned from their day of sight seeing in London, we all took the bus back into Richmond again and wandered the river restaurants until alighting at The White Cross pub for a good dinner and a few pints.
Nice relaxing day.
